Loading & unloading
How is the vehicle operated?
Loading is generally carried out through the rear doors of the box truck. At pickup, the goods are moved into the enclosed body from a loading dock or with suitable handling equipment. At delivery, unloading is carried out in the same way, depending on the equipment available on site.
A tail lift is particularly useful when there is no loading or unloading dock: it allows pallets and parcels to be raised or lowered between ground level and the vehicle floor. Combined with a pallet truck, it makes handling easier at sites without their own loading equipment.
