Shorter international lead times
Air transport moves goods quickly between distant regions. It is particularly useful for urgent replenishment, critical parts and launches tied to a firm delivery date.
International · Air
Drivet Transport International organises air-freight shipments when time is critical or distance calls for a fast international solution. We coordinate collection, airport transfer, cargo booking, the required formalities and final delivery according to the constraints of each shipment.

International air cargo
Air freight is most relevant when the cost or operational impact of a delay outweighs the price difference with a slower mode. Connections between major hubs can significantly shorten long-distance transit, provided that pre-carriage, screening, customs and final delivery are coordinated.

Cargo airports and scheduled flights link the main economic centres. Frequency and available capacity nevertheless vary by route, season and shipment characteristics.
Air freight can be appropriate for selected high-value, perishable or business-critical goods, subject to suitable packaging and transport conditions.
One priority: time
Choosing the right mode
There is no universal answer: the right choice depends on the acceptable lead time, budget, weight, volume, nature of the goods and the desired environmental performance.

+ Best considered when speed, departure frequency or the value of time is decisive. It shortens international transit and can respond to urgent demand or a supply shortage.
− It is generally more expensive. Capacity, weight, dimensions and dangerous goods are subject to strict constraints, while its carbon footprint per tonne-kilometre is higher than sea freight.

+ Sea freight is well suited to large volumes, heavy cargo and flows that can be planned ahead. It provides substantial capacity, a wide range of container types and generally more competitive long-distance pricing.
− Lead times are longer and must account for port cut-offs, calls, possible transhipments, congestion and inland legs. It is, however, more emissions-efficient per tonne-kilometre.
The two modes can also be combined: air for the urgent portion, followed by sea to rebuild stock on more economical terms. We compare the full route before recommending an arrangement.
Drivet Transport International
Air freight is particularly relevant when time is critical, goods are high-value, a critical part is required urgently or long distance makes other modes too slow. Weight, volume, cost and destination still need to be reviewed before booking.
Yes. Depending on the shipment, Drivet Transport International can coordinate collection, airport transfer, the air-freight leg, import-export formalities and final delivery to the consignee.
Many goods can move by air, including industrial parts, technical equipment, medical products, samples and high-value parcels. Dimensions, weight, product characteristics and any restrictions need to be checked before confirmation.
Yes. For some international emergencies, air freight can significantly reduce transit time. The actual lead time depends on flight availability, cargo acceptance cut-offs, formalities and final delivery arrangements.
Some batteries and dangerous goods may be accepted subject to strict conditions. Classification, state, capacity, packaging, documentation and airline acceptance must be verified before any booking is confirmed.
Yes, depending on the product and its storage requirements. Temperature-sensitive products need an organisation compatible with the required range, packaging and transit time, with particular attention to handling and waiting periods.
Ideally provide collection and destination addresses, exact goods description, package count, weight, dimensions, cargo-ready date, required deadline, value and any temperature or regulatory constraints.
We can review shipments to many international destinations. Feasibility depends on the airports served, available capacity, type of goods, required timing and the formalities applying at origin and destination.
